First and foremost, the Locanda Agricola Posapiano is a lifestyle choice designed to offer an authentic and quality product for our guests, but also for our family: the desire to live in beautiful hills of the Montecarlo area, to dedicate the necessary time to hospitality, offering our guests a typical and rich cuisine, created using local raw materials. These are the very elements that set our project in motion and, after a few years of reflection and preparation, making sure that everything was as ready as it could possibly be, we decided that we were ready to open our doors to you…
The Locanda will see us engaged and busy on several fronts, from the management of our farm to welcoming our guests in our typical farmhouse apartments, in a diverse and dynamic activity culminating in our restaurant. A daily job, whose main ingredients are our utmost attention to detail – in the dishes prepared, as well as in the table service – and the many important stimuli that stem from all that surrounds us: a continuous source of inspiration.
We have a great deal of experience in the food and restaurant sector, in Tuscany and around Italy, which have filled us with knowledge, united as we have always been by the shared passion for food and wine.
We have played with the idea of creating something of our own and managing it for nearly ten years, adapting what we had learned and every day continuing to learn something new from
meeting our guests
Then the opportunity to get back into the game presented itself, in a path of personal and professional growth, taking advantage of what we have learned over the years and adapting it
according to the potential of a new place. And so the Locanda Agricola Posapiano was born: a place synonymous with simplicity, essentiality and concreteness.
We like to be informal, without neglecting the details. We like minimalism on a plate, the use of a few ingredients at a time, with dishes that are understandable, local and comforting.
Our cuisine is based on our farm’s agricultural products and on local and Tuscan excellences: a fresh cuisine – spontaneous and endearing – respectful of tradition, yet re-seen through the eyes of our generation.
